All natural, water-based, non-toxic, biodegradable nail polish and nail polish remover!

Conventional nail polish and nail polish removers contain a whole assortment of harmful chemicals: formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate, benzophenone-1ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, propyl acetate, denatonium benzoate, dimethyl adipate, propylene carbonate.

According to the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Report, those chemicals pose the following health risks:
  • Carcinogens
  • Immune and nervous system toxicity
  • Gastrointestinal and liver toxicity hazards
  • Neurotoxicity hazards
  • Damage to the skin, sensory organs
  • Possible reproductive or developmental harm
Luckily, I just found non-toxic, all natural, vegan nail polish and nail polish remover!

  1. I tried the nail polish, but didn't like it - it went on streaky and looked dull. Apparently it doesn't work so good without the base coat and a top coat. Plus it started chipping the very first day. Then I tried the Remover and it didn't seem to work either, and the polish was a huge pain to remove. So, try it at your own risk, but use base coat and top coat. I'm not going to bother - too much work and money. Looks like I'll just not paint my nails again, except once in a while, using the toxic polish. :(
