Master Gene P16

 From RevGenetics:

MasterGene P16 is one of 3 supplements we are working on for longevity. Astral Fruit-C is specifically aimed at the Telomerase gene. Resveratrol is aimed at the P53 gene along with many other benefits. MasterGene P16 is aimed at the P16 gene. We believe maintaining these 3 genes in a healthy state will allow a person to naturally live healthier for a longer period of time. *This article explains the importance of these 3 master genes, and a study in mice: News Article

The Gene P16 is called a "Tumor Suppressor Gene". Tumors include benign tumors such as moles or some fibroids that are not caused by disease as well as others not mentioned here. In university studies, it was shown that the ingredient in this supplement activated P16. While non mutated forms of P16 reduces the risk of the cell entering uncontrolled mitosis in humans, deletions and mutations of p16 are found in a variety of tumors. We believe maintaining healthy gene function is key to supporting a long life, and this is the first supplement to consider the importance of this function. You may research Saikosaponin A and P16 further through unbiased Journal publications (link). Please remember, these supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, we simply provide the information for your consideration and to support healthy gene functions.

We help activate MasterGene P16 with Saikosaponin A, from the highest purity bupleurum extracts available. We believe this extract to be is a breakthrough in cellular cleansing when combined with micronized resveratrol. You would have to consume an equivalent of 6,000 mg of a super concentrated 50:1 Bupleurum extract to get the same amount of Saikosaponin A found in 1 capsule. The lab analysis we have of a 50:1 concentrate we purchased from overseas shows minimal percentage of Saikosaponin A in the concentrate (Link). At this time a 50:1 concentrate is not available in the U.S. and If you wanted to take regular bupleurum, it would take in excess of 50,000 mg a day.

  4. Saikosaponin I, extracted from the root of Bupleurum chinense DC, is a Saikosaponins standard to help analyse and resolve the activities of herbal medicines such as Sho-saiko-to. Sho-saiko-to is a herbal medicine which has been orally administered to patients with chronic liver disease in Japan and has been found to inhibit the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. 2. This herbal remedy should not be used for any length of time, because "the long-term consumption of Sho-saiko-to, resulted in some severe adverse effects, such as interstitial pneumonia and acute respiratory failure. In March 1996, the media disclosed that in the past 2 years after this Kampo was approved in Japan, 88 hepatitis patients developed interstitial pneumonitis, including 10 deaths resulting from acute respiratory failure, due to taking of this drug. Information was urgently put out by the Japanese authorities, and the situation became known as the “Sho-saiko-to Event”." Quoted from https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5442075/
