Dragon fruit

Aside from being very beautiful and having inspired me to paint it twice, I found that dragon fruit is very helpful to control sugar in diabetics, and it is loaded with vitamin C and fiber. It tastes slightly like kiwis but not sour like kiwis can be. Extremely sour fruit make my tongue hurt sometimes, so dragon fruit is great for all of us allergic to raw fruit acids.
Before I knew that it was good to eat, I bought a couple of them to paint in one of the little stores on Jackson St. in Chinatown, just because they were so pretty. Here's the painting:
