Buy salt with iodine or without?

I don't know why they even sell salt without iodine, since for most people it is the only source of iodine, and a very poor one, too, because only 10% of iodine is absorbed from table salt. American diet sucks, and that's why Americans have like one of the lowest life expectancies in the world. Japanese eat lots of seaweed, so they live longer and are a lot healthier. Lack of iodine causes cysts and breast cancer, among other very unpleasant things. So next time you're doing shopping, since I don't recommend buying icky seaweed (it really stinks when you cook it), get a bottle of natural kelp or seaweed supplements.
