Everyday thinking can be damaging your health

Thoughts you think, without even being aware of them, could be taking years off your life! You need to watch your thoughts just like you watch what you eat. Furthermore, when you catch yourself thinking something negative, turn it immediately into a positive statement.

For instance:

You're thinking:                      Turn it into:
I'm a fat pig!                    Exercise is good for me!
I hate my job!                  I'd love to explore new possibilities!
I am flat broke!               Might be fun to check out some food banks and thrift stores.
I hate my boss!                I feel real sorry for my boss.
I wish he died!                 Living with himself must be worse than death.
What a jerk he is!            I'm so lucky to be such an awesome person!
I'm so stupid!                   I should slow down and take it easy before I really screw up.

Well, you get the idea.

Things you must absolutely avoid thinking about:
  • Poor me kind of whiny stuff
  • A guy you have a crush on, who is not all that into you
  • That you're fat or unattractive
  • Wishing someone bad things to happen to them
  • Getting revenge
